Accounting Associate (Greenhouse Resort / KS Boardriders Surf Shop)

We are looking for an awesome accountant team player to join our team to manage our shop brand partners and resort bookkeeping. Live in Siargao and work with our awesome local team.

Greenhouse Siargao Resort/Cafe and KS Boardriders Surf Shop are looking for someone to handle the daily accounting tasks in coordination with our senior accountant.

Job Type: Contract-based

Qualifications:

Graduate of BS Accounting, Finance or relevant degree
CPA is a plus but not necessary
At least 5 years working experience
At least 5 years experience in Xero or other accounting software.
Ability to work independently
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Siargao-based

Tasks:

1. Closely monitor, oversee and process accounts Receivables and Payables and send weekly updates.
2. Send weekly expenses report.
3. Provide timely feedback to suppliers and marketing partners in relation to their billing concerns
4. Update and Maintain XERO accounting database with data entry and reports
5. Prepare and submit monthly financial report
6. VAT Reporting
7. Intercompany Balance
8. Income Tax Return and BIR Reporting - Quarterly and Annually
9. BIR Annual Registration and other BIR Reporting requirements
10. SEC Reporting / SEC compliance
11. Assistance of admin/HR Teams in New rules/policies/laws affecting staff payment (such as issuance from DOLE), SSS, Pagibig and PhilHealth
12. Tax queries, Foreign Exchange queries, Contract review with Suppliers, Supplying information (BIR and SEC info)
